    Kathryn's Bio:
Hello! My name is Kathryn McCarrick. I grew up in Saint Paul as an only child. I am an Elementary Education major hoping to specialize in 4th, 5th or 6th grade. I chose CSS because of the vibrant and wholesome community that inspires me to be a better person every day. In my free time I hang out with friends, study and watch various Netflix comedy specials (Bo Burnham is an all-time favorite). On campus I am involved in inkeeping, where students can choose to stay with me in my dorm overnight, and the choral program.

Moving out

It is a sad time of year when freshman dorm roommates and apartment mates have to say bye to the end of an era. Students will often start to move things back home over Easter. I find that a lot of things pile up in the first year or two of a person being on their own with no financial burdens (at least in the beginning). I have to say I will very much miss all of the amazing people I have lived with for the past 6 months and look forward to staying in touch. After Easter break there is only 2 and a half weeks left of school including the ever short finals weeks. This definitely feels like the closing of a chapter in my life here, not only at CSS but life in general. The first two years of college were a whirlwind and now we have reached the part where students really start seeing themselves in jobs and working harder towards graduation, rather than prerequisites. I look forward to growing through the next two years.
