    Katelyn's Bio:
Hi! I'm Katelyn Gehling and I am a first-year student at St. Scholastica. I chose to come to Duluth because I have always loved vacationing in this city when I was younger and I think CSS is beautiful. On campus, I am involved in women's soccer, The Cable, and the PT club. I plan on majoring in Exercise Physiology with the intent of going to grad school to become a physical therapist.

Spring, Where are you?

Oh Duluth, how I love living here. However, it is spring, but we are buried in snow still. Not to mention the below-freezing temperatures and blowing wind everyday. Even through all the blustery wind and snow, Duluth is still a very beautiful city. With the extension of winter, I have been fortunate enough to be able to continue to snowboard at Spirit Mountain here in Duluth. The downside of the fact that I can still snowboard in April is that soccer practice keeps getting cancelled. As a team, we were so excited to start practicing outdoors again, but so far 2 of our 4 practices have been postponed due to the weather. With the continuation of winter, I have been able to go for walks along Lake Superior to look at the ice that is still on all the rocks and in the harbor, which is very beautiful. Duluth, I love you, but winter has to go. I am ready for spring!
