    Katelyn's Bio:
Hi! I'm Katelyn Gehling and I am a first-year student at St. Scholastica. I chose to come to Duluth because I have always loved vacationing in this city when I was younger and I think CSS is beautiful. On campus, I am involved in women's soccer, The Cable, and the PT club. I plan on majoring in Exercise Physiology with the intent of going to grad school to become a physical therapist.

It’s Crunch Time

Wow this freshman year has gone by so fast. You arrive on campus in September, or for soccer in August like me, all nervous and stressed, and next thing you know it’s mid-April and you wonder where time has gone. Unfortunately for most of us students, April not only means spring, but it means finals are almost upon us. My main goal during this stressful time is to focus on getting my work done, while also taking care of myself. This includes sleeping at least 7 hours a night, taking naps, watching Netflix, and playing soccer. I try to also study at some point each day for classes so I do not have to cramp the days before finals, because I did that last semester, and I do not recommend that for anything! Just focusing on the good times to be had this summer at the lake and with friends is enough motivation for me to keep on working everyday to finish the year strong.
