    Jordan's Bio:
Welcome to my blog page! I co-teach MKT 4500: BlueStone Ad Agency. Through this class, students work on marketing projects for local businesses and nonprofit organizations. It’s a great resume builder for students and helps them get real-world business experience. I also work in the marketing department here at CSS. I’ve lived in Duluth for over five years and love it up here. I hope my blog will give you a glimpse of all the cool things going on here at St. Scholastica and in Duluth.

The New “F” Word

So maybe you’ve noticed from the students’ blog posts, but it’s finals time ’round here. While there are still students milling about, the atmosphere is a little quieter, and conversations usually start with a list of someone’s upcoming tests and final projects. Everyone seems a bit preoccupied with thoughts of those impending, dreaded (for some) finals.

Next Wednesday is the finals for my class. Students will be giving presentations of the work they’ve done for their clients. The clients will be at these presentations as well. It’s at this time that I’m most proud of my students – to see all the work they’ve done and, most importantly, the experience they’ve gained over this semester that’s going to help position them to land a job in marketing, graphic design, social media management or public relations.
