    Jake's Bio:
I transferred to St. Scholastica after a semester at the University of Arizona and can say with confidence that it is the greatest decision I have ever made. There are endless things to love about St. Scholastica and Duluth, but I would have to say my favorite part about going to school here is the people I have encountered. The welcoming student body and passionate faculty provide a family away from home.

Subways: DC’s way of making a good morning terrible

I’m currently on my way to a Senate Judiciary on the Surveillance Transparency Act of 2013 that I have spent hours preparing for. Unfortunately for me, the metro system did not want to comply with that and I am now running 20 minutes late (I am always at least 20 minutes EARLY if that tells you anything). It is frustrating and I miss my car, but I’ll survive and live to ride another day.
