    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Winter In Duluth

When it comes to Duluth winters they can be extremely cold. Temperatures will often times plummet into the negative digits and it is imperative to dress warm in order to stay safe. As much as we may want to be in shorts and a t-shirt all year long, it is not likely that will ever happen in Duluth. Thankfully, Duluth is home to a wonderful business called Duluth Trading Co. that makes outdoor clothing and gear perfect for the weather up here.  So grab your flannel-lined jeans, wool socks, and fur moccasins in order to stay warm this winter!

Speaking from 5 years of cold winter experience – staying warm and embracing the weather will help you not only survive the Duluth winters, but also enjoy them!

Here is a box of my most prized winter possessions: Moccasins, flannel-lined jeans, and wool socks. Thanks Dad!
