    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Wade Stadium Renovations

I’ve been part of the Saints baseball program for three years now. I came to Duluth in the fall of 2011 and will be entering my senior year this fall. For most college baseball players home games are the greatest games of the season where friends and family pack the stands to cheer the team on. Well, in the past two years the Saints baseball team has not played a single game at their home field, Wade Municipal Stadium. This is mostly due to the rough winters that we’ve had the past two years with snow on the ground into May and very low temperatures in the spring.

Fortunately, the bill passed for funds to renovate Wade Stadium this fall. The baseball program is hoping with new turf we will be able to clear snow and have the field ready for all of our home games and possibly some games to be played at home if our opponents fields are not playable this spring. We are now hoping for sunny and warm days this spring. Snow on the ground or not, we are going to have some home games this year!
