    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Volunteering

The tradition of community involvement and volunteering that the College of St. Scholastica tries to exemplify as a whole can also been seen in the baseball program.

Recently we have been a part of multiple volunteer opportunities and there are more scheduled in the upcoming weeks. Most recently we have given back to the community of Hermantown because they let us use their ball fields for our fall ball season. We helped them by painting the dugouts and winterizing the park.  We also volunteered at the Holy Rosary Elementary School Halloween Carnival. The players ran all sorts of stations and made it a great atmosphere for the kids. I have also been raking leaves for the family that I will be aiding as a personal care assistant. In the upcoming weeks we will be volunteering at Holy Rosary once again helping with their annual Craft Sale. One other volunteer opportunity we have will be helping one of our own alumni move into a new home.

Community and Family are big parts of the College of St. Scholastica. Let me assure you that CSS is a great place to be interactive with the local community with many volunteer opportunities!
