I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

The Solution

Kerst 121 has finally found the solution to our dirty dishes problem. A quick recap…we were using a system where we take turns doing the dishes. This didn’t work at all because dishes would pile up and somebody would get made that whoever’s turn it was hadn’t done them yet. It was a disaster. Now we have decided that you do your own dishes when you’re done with them. So far it has been nothing but successful. Dishes don’t pile up, theirs not a nasty smell by the sink, theirs always dishes available – the ones I need!

Here’s a photo of the sink…Yes, it looks like this everyday too!

So here’s my advice to those of you who will be living in the apartments over the next few years, be sure to find an agreement of a way to get the dishes done. It makes living much less stressful and makes for a happy atmosphere.

But if all else fails, get a lovely girlfriend who doesn’t mind cleaning up and doing your dishes =)
