    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Still Waiting…

It has been about 4 months since I’ve seen my entire family. The last time we were all together was over Christmas break. Before that I hadn’t seen them all together since 2 weeks before I left to come to CSS. My parents and one of my brothers came up to visit in early March, my mom and 2 of her sisters came to watch when the baseball team played in Whitewater, WI, and I saw one of my brothers and both parents when the baseball team went to St. Louis for a series of games. Thankfully I have family in Ashland, WI where I visited multiple times in the fall and I also have family in Forest Lake, MN and I’ve been able to visit them twice. Some would say I haven’t had much of a family feeling but…I beg to differ. When you step foot on campus there is no doubt that you will immediately feel that “family” sense and you will grow to love it.

The St. Scholastica campus is one big family. Not to mention my baseball teammates who have been my 2nd family this entire year. Although I haven’t been able to see my true family as a whole, the bits and pieces of family here and there have gotten me through my first year of college. I would like to say thank you to those at Scholastica, especially my teammates who have made my first year an amazing experience. I would also like to thank my family in Ashland and Forest Lake for always being there for me this year whenever I needed to see some “real” family.

I am so thankful for the family here at CSS and I’m looking forward to seeing my entire family at home this summer but due to our baseball team’s success that may not be until late May. So who knows when I will see them exactly but I am waiting anxiously, to see them all this summer!
