I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

St. Louis River Canoe Paddle

Outdoor Pursuit does a wonderful job at giving students opportunities to enjoy the beautiful Duluth area for very reasonable prices (sometimes even for FREE). This past Tuesday I took part in one of the opportunities called “Canoe Paddle” on the St. Louis River.

It was an absolute blast. There were two experienced student tour guides who lead our adventure. The group consisted of one freshman girl, my girlfriend and myself, two occupational therapist graduate students, and one exercise physiology graduate student. I gained a few new friendships on the trip and got to experience a new side of the Duluth area I have yet to experience. It was beautiful day and I’m looking forward to participating in even more Outdoor Pursuit opportunities in the future.

The Duluth area has some awesome attractions that the Outdoor Pursuit loves to give students the chance to experience. If you love adventure and the outdoors be sure to come to CSS and ask about Outdoor Pursuit or check out their website …. Outdoor Pursuit

Trust me, you do not want to miss out on any of the awesome opportunities that are given…sea cave kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, camping, hiking, etc.
