    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Sister’s Love of Athletics

Check out the article on Sister Lisa Maurer who recently became the first ever female on the football coaching staff.

Sister Lisa Maurer

On my way out of the Burns Wellness Center the other day I saw something on the basketball court that caught my attention. It was one of the St. Scholastica Sisters playing basketball. As I watched her go from one end of the court, take a shot AND make it, then back to the other end and do the same, I knew I had to go get a picture.

The Sisters here at the College of St. Scholastica love being a part of the CSS community. Whether it is with our athletic teams, academic coursework, community involvement, or just a friendly conversation the sisters are so glad we are here! It is nice to have the support and encouragement at all times from the women who constantly keep us in their prayers.

If you see a Sister on campus be sure to stop and say hello! Who knows maybe they will play you in a pick up game of basketball!

A sister let me get an action shot of her getting some exercise in.
