Sidewalk Days Festival – Entertainment

This past weekend downtown Duluth was alive and full of life. This time it wasn’t because of the beautiful weather and the lake…well, maybe it was. However, this past weekend was the Sidewalk Days Festival where downtown Duluth became a shopping celebration.

Vendors from local shops were out on Superior street advertising and selling their merchandise. There was also great food, fun for the kids, and entertainment.

I want to focus on the entertainment for a moment. My roommate of 4 years, Duluth native and CSS graduate, Brody Olson, was part of the entertainment this past weekend. He serranaded the community as he sang and played guitar. Brody was accompanied by his dad who gave him a little background noise with a Cajon drum. The coolest part about Brody’s entertainment was he was doing it for the Northern Lights Foundation. Brody ended up raising over $500 for this charity in his 3 days playing during the Sidewalk Days Festival. Proud to call this guy one of my best friends!!!
