Severe Weather In Duluth

If you were anywhere near Northeastern Minnesota last Thursday you know how intense the storm that rolled through was. It did some serious damage, leaving thousands without power for days and some folks still don’t have any. There are line crews from all over the Midwest including Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. I lost power for 3 days following the high wind and heavy rainfall. I stashed frozen food at 2 friends’ houses who had generators and I had 2 coolers full of food and ice. The problem with the coolers though was that the storm decided to hit when it was one of the hottest days of the summer and places were out of ice all over the Duluth area. I kept busy though helping clear my friends’ properties. Below are some pictures of the damage that was caused and a few pictures of the clean-up.

Massive amount of trees, limbs, and branches a few buddies and I hauled off of a friend's property.
