    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Scholarship Opportunities

Here at CSS we are proud to consider ourselves a Health Science college. Although there are many different types of minors and majors, a large group of us are in the health field: nurses, physcial therpaists, exercise physiologists, athletic trainors, occupational therapists, etc.

Buisness and Companies in the area and even the state know this and give students the opportunities for scholarships. The health science students were recently made aware of two scholarships; one from Essentia Health (Offereing $2,500 scholarships to students in health science professions), the other from St. Luke’s (St. Luke’s Volunteer Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000). As college students every dollar counts when paying for an education and we must take adavantage of the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship.

Atlhough it may sound cheesy, these are the type of things you should be looking for as you go on in your education. Opportunities like these, not only help you out financially but also seperate you from your classmates and give you something to put on your resume and be recognized for!

Keep searching for scholarships! There is money out there to be earned, you just have to keep your eyes open!
