    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Pathophysiology – Online

My second online summer class is underway. I chose to take an upper division Biology class that would cover a pre-requisite for a few graduate schools that I plan on applying to. The class is called Pathophysiology and it is taught by one of the best professors at CSS, Doctor Cizadlo (Doc C).

It is a 4-credit class that extends throughout the entire summer from May 19 – Aug 22. The nice part about this class is that it is on your own time. If you want to wait until the last minute you may, but I plan to finish it as early as possible to enjoy the summer.

Doc C’s class is set up on blackboard with lectures on iTunes and PowerPoint slides from the classes he has taught in the past. Basically you look up the lecture you want to listen to (you have the choice between the past 3 years of Pathophysiology lectures), take notes and follow along the objective list and outline, and when you believe you have covered all the appropriate material you take a 33 question MC exam through blackboard.

So far it as been a good experience and I’m hoping that it continues throughout the remainder of the class.

My set up for listening to Pathophysiology lectures. I have my macbook that has iTunes pulled up with Doc C's lectures, my beat headphones, notebook, objectives, and outline of the course.
