    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

On-Campus Employment

The college does a wonderful job at giving its students employment opportunities. If you’re like me and thoroughly appreciate the opportunity to make some extra cash for groceries, gas, money, etc., CSS is a great place for you.

Many opportunities during the year deal with helping with sporting events. Basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, and track are a few of the sports that require student assistance. The past few weeks I spent my time helping out with men and women’s soccer games. Some of the jobs that are required during soccer games are taking tickets, being a ball chaser, videoing, announcing, and working the scoreboard.

Fall Duluth weather is amazing and what better way to enjoy it then by being outside, making money, and supporting our athletic teams. The jobs really aren’t hard and pay rather well. When I worked the soccer games, I videotaped the games and when I wasn’t doing that I was a ball chaser. Be sure and take advantage of the opportunities that arise here on our great CSS campus!

I took these photos during and after a soccer game. The first is from my spot on the sideline when I was being a ball chaser. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Duluth. The second photo is from the video tower after the women’s game where they came out victorious! By the way the view from the video tower over CSS to the lake was breath taking!

Congrats to both the men and women on wonderful seasons!
