Karate – mixed martial arts

I always wanted to be involved in some sort of martial arts or boxing class when I was younger but I never did. While spending the day with my family down by the twin cities before I head home tomorrow for Christmas, I was able to watch some karate. My two 2nd cousins became interested in doing karate this past year and so my cousin (their dad) signed them up and decided he would also participate in the class. I just wanted to show a few pictures I took during their class to show my first experience with mixed martial arts!

I was impressed with the fact that Karate takes discipline so seriously. There was also a lot of bowing and words such as “Mr.’” and “Master” being thrown around which showed me that they also are big on respect. After sitting in on the class this evening, I think I really missed out when I was younger. I think karate would have been really fun while and built some pretty good qualities in my character. I guess its never too late too start!
