JJ Astor Restaurant and Lounge

The past two and half years I’ve heard folks here talk about the spinning restaurant at the top of the Radison Hotel in downtown Duluth. Located on First Street and right by Mesaba Ave. it is in fulll view as you come into town. I recently had the pleasure of going to eat there with my girlfriend and her grandparents.

Wow! That is what I have to say about that experience. At the top of the hotel on the 15th floor is the JJ Astor Restaurant and Lounge. The room spins a full 360 degrees in 72 minutes, giving those dining there a chance to view much of Duluth including; downtown, Canal Park, the central hillside, the lift bridge, Lake Superior, and more. The view was terrific, as was the food and the service.

The next time my family is up visiting in Duluth, there is no doubt we will be heading up to the 15th floor of the Radison. I strongly suggest going to the JJ Astor Restaurant and Lounge for some great food and beautiful scenery.
