    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Intramural Basketball

The rigors of graduate school are associated with a lot of mental exercise. As a student in the physical therapy program at CSS, I’m usually in the classroom from 7:45am-3pm Monday – Friday. It’s easy to wear down fairly quickly unless you give yourself a mental break with some physical activity. I like to believe I’m a pretty active guy, although, I’ve slowed down a bit now that I’m not a member of the baseball team.

Thankfully a few of my fellow PT students and I formed a co-ed intramural basketball team that plays Thursday nights in the Burns Wellness Center on campus. So far this season we are 4-0 and looking for that Championship t-shirt! It has been a great way to release stress from class and get our exercise in for the day…or for some of us…the week =)

CSS has a variety of intramural sports throughout the year from volleyball and basketball to floor hockey and flag football. It is a great way to meet new people, exercise, and take a break from school.
