    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Final Internship… DONE

My final internship for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program has officially been completed. It was a great 10 weeks of working in a private practice outpatient orthopedic clinic in rural WI. I developed quite a few great professional relationships and was able to take part in a some really great opportunities that make the rural setting so special.

Up next is studying for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) that I will be taking on in April to become a licensed PT. My nose will literally be in a text book, like it is my job, for the next few weeks. In addition to studying for the NPTE, I also have to finish up my capstone project, which I will present to my classmates and faculty at the beginning of April – stay tuned for a blog regarding my topic.

Here is to the final leg of this wonderful journey that I started almost 3 years ago!

My co-workers at my final internship site all pitched in for a little breakfast/brunch on my last day. We had the makings for some healthy yogurt parfait’s, as well as some homemade blueberry muffins and chocolate chip zucchini muffins. Not to mention coffee and OJ to wash it all down!
