I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Chilly Billy’s

The city of Duluth has opened a new hot spot for those who enjoy frozen yogurt. Chilly Billy’s was opened earlier in March right by the UMD campus, next to the new Bluestone Loft Apartments.

I went there for the first time yesterday and was amazed! I have personally never had frozen yogurt, besides when my brothers and I would freeze our Go-gurt sticks, but I don’t think that counts.

Chilly Billy’s has a bright and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to take a study break or grab a late night snack. You first choose the frozen yogurt you’d like and then the toppings next. You pay based on the weight of your frozen yogurt concoction. You can even put a divider in the middle of your bowl incase you want to try multiple kinds. I chose to use the divider and I got both strawberry lemonade and cookies ‘n’ cream frozen yogurt. I put strawberries, raspberries, sour gummy worms, and watermelon boba balls on my strawberry lemonade side. I put puppy chow, Oreos, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and peanut butter on my cookies ‘n’ cream side. What a treat! You can bet I’ll be making multiple appearances there before I leave for the summer.

Get down there and try it out!
