    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Chili Time

Since the NFL is underway, the St. Louis Cardinals are making their playoff run, and the weather is getting chilly, I figured it was time to bust out the crock pot and make my first batch of chili. It lasted about 2 hours with 4 guys chowing down! It was extremely delicious and I just might have to make another batch this weekend!

It’s not hard at all to make either! You can get recipes online or make it up as you go. My ingredients included…
2 lbs of burger
1 can chunky tomatoes
1 can diced tomatoes
1 green pepper chopped
1 onion diced
2 cans of chili beans
About 2 cups of V8 vegetable juice
1 packet of chili seasoning mix

—after heating all of this up and pouring it into my bowl I added…

Handful of shredded cheese
Jalapeno peppers
Crushed Fritos
Dash of Chili Powder
