    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Burns Wellness Center – Weight Room

As of late, a few of my teammates and myself have been heading to the Burns Wellness Center at 6:30am when the doors open. I took this photo the other day right when I got into the weight room. Theirs nothing like having the weight room to yourself and starting your day off with a good workout. I honestly feel better throughout the entire day if I get up early and work out, compared to sleeping in until about 9:15 for 10:30 class.

The Wellness Center has some pretty accommodating hours, for hectic class schedules and practice times. Being an athlete on campus, I would say I am in the wellness center at least twice a day if not more. It’s a great place to workout, have some fun (rock climbing, shooting hoops, playing football catch, etc.), yoga classes, for studying, etc.
