    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Best Time of the Year

Although my education is extremely important to me, now that the semester is over, it’s the best time of the year. It’s that time when we are living to play baseball. All we do is eat, sleep, and play ball. We recently wrapped up the conference tournament at Bethel College (due to poor weather and field conditions in Duluth) where we won the tournament outright, earning the automatic qualifier to the NCAA DIII Regional Tournament.

This year is going to be different. In the past we’ve always gone to the regional in Whitewater, WI but this year the DIII committee shook the brackets up a little and we were sent to Moline, IL. For me this is awesome because it will be closer for my family to come and watch, and not to mention it is where my older brother went to school and played ball (Augustana College).

We open up play Wednesday at 8pm against Buena Vista. It’s time to just play ball. Are only worry is what’s in front of us right now. Since we’ve finished up the “student” portion of student-athlete with finals last week it’s now time to be the “athlete” portion…This is the best time of the year!
