    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Beautiful Day For A Road Trip

Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I want to first off give every mother a belated but very meaningful Happy Mother’s Day! So much our moms do for us, they definitely deserve more than one day to celebrate their awesomeness! I was unable to see my own mother yesterday because I’m still 10 hours from home. Instead, one of my teammates and myself had a little road trip to Ashland, WI where my aunt, uncle, cousins, and their kids were there celebrating Mother’s Day.

We took off from Duluth around 2:00 p.m. and the entire trip I was reminded of one of the reasons I chose St. Scholastica…The beautiful scenery and nature everywhere you look. It was such an amazing day and it was nice to get out and experience it. We ended up getting to Ashland and playing some basketball, eating a wonderful steak dinner, and finishing up the evening visiting and playing few games of washers. It was a beautiful day and I’m glad I got to spend it outside with the people I love and care about.

We got back on the road a little before 7:00 p.m. and what a perfect time to head back to Duluth. The sun was on its descent and the sky was changing colors. Once we got into Superior and began to see the Lake, the sky was a beautiful blue, orange, and pink color. I wish I wasn’t driving I would of taken a picture. I’m told Duluth is one of the greatest places to be during the summer and so far it is living up to that expectation.

Get out and road trip this summer, you never know what kind of great sites or beautiful landscapes you will come across!
