    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Alumni Weekend – Saints Baseball

The annual baseball alumni weekend was held this past weekend. It was an absolute success. The events began Friday evening with a Legends game (alumni vs. alumni) followed by a social at Blackwoods. Saturday morning the current Saints played the alumni in a 9 inning game winning 14-10. I must say it was pretty weird being in the other dugout this year playing for the alumni. Following the game there was another social with family and friends prior to the alumni/hall of fame banquet on campus. We honored this past year’s seniors, handed out hard-earned awards both academic and athletic, and inducted two members into the Saints Baseball Hall of Fame – pitcher Peter Burg ’09 and outfielder Josh Wettlaufer ’04.

It was great being able to reconnect with fellow teammates and alumni throughout the weekend. It was also a treat to have my mom and aunt make the trip north from Illinois to attend the events.

The baseball program continues to grow and be a positive image for the College of St. Scholastica. Our family is unique, special, and holds a dear place in my heart. This program is a major reason why I chose to attend the College of St. Scholastica and I couldn’t be more appreciative of all that this college and baseball program have given me. My time here has and continues to be the greatest experience of my life!
