Advanced Exercise Physiology 1 Rep Max Lab

Today in my Advanced Exercise Physiology lab we performed multiple exercises for a one maximal effort repetition. We started out going around the table with a hand dynamometer testing grip strength on both our right and left hands. We then took our lab into the weight room where we had two volunteers perform one rep max exercises. The first participant was my buddy Collin Burke, who performed his max bench press. It was quite impressive as he put up 325 pounds for one rep. Up next was another good friend of mine, Ryan Murphy. He demonstrated his one rep max deadlift at 565 pounds!
