    Jake's Bio:
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! My interests range from fishing and running to spending time in the chemistry labs with the professors. The Duluth area mixed with the professional and compassionate faculty and staff that make up St. Scholastica are, in my opinion, the perfect match up for an awesome college experience. I look forward to blogging about my future adventures!

The Events of a Snow Day….

Well, we ended up having a snow day so I decided to loosely document it.

Photo221

I started by digging out my car. It actually didn’t take too long!

And then I returned to my apartment to do some studying. (Not photographed because that part wasn’t interesting to look at.)

Later in the evening we decided to check out some bars (my roommates and I are 21).

Below is the “Anchor Bar” in Superior, WI. It was quite the place. The inside was full of ¬†cool antiques and other trinkets. It definitely had the old, small town bar feel.

Afterwards, we checked out “Thirsty Pagan Brewing.” Also a pretty good place! There’s a lot of small bars that have some pretty tasty beers.

Finally, we decided to end the night with some food at a good Mexican Restaurant!

Overall, I’d say the snow day was quite a success.
