Phage!

After many hours of lab work…we finally have some good looking bacteriophage. As I mentioned in a previous post, bacteriophage are a type of virus that that infect a specific strain of bacteria. All of the round circles or, ‘plaques’, are bacteriphage eating away at the bacteria. Next step is to purify the phages we have!
