    Jake's Bio:
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! My interests range from fishing and running to spending time in the chemistry labs with the professors. The Duluth area mixed with the professional and compassionate faculty and staff that make up St. Scholastica are, in my opinion, the perfect match up for an awesome college experience. I look forward to blogging about my future adventures!

Duluth and Mountain Biking

Over the past few years I have witnessed the Duluth mountain biking  scene go from a small, relatively unknown attraction, to the well-known respectable community that it has become. Many of the local bike shops, local government, and other organizations (like COGGS and Spirit Mountain) have placed a huge amount of effort into expanding the amount of biking trails in Duluth. This common goal has led to a huge growth of trails and national attention. Check out the most recent news broadcast, here.

Plus, on Monday, voting will open up to decided who should receive a $100,000 grant from Bells Helmets for new trails. Vote for Spirit Mountain! Voting opens up April 27th!!
