    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Jared's Bio:
I graduated from CSS with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Now I'm in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program here. I love the active environment this school has, which makes for a great experience especially in a major like my own. Coming to this school has been one of the best decisions of my life. Not only is the school a perfect fit, the city of Duluth is so active and alive all the time, which made the selection of St. Scholastica even easier. I have made so many amazing experiences here that I cannot imagine going to any other school.

The Subtle Things In Life

I’ve been lucky enough to have free room and board on my last residency in Marshalltown Iowa. I’ve been lucky to have had two of the last three at home and been able to live for free, except gas to and from work. I never realized how much money I’ve saved living with my parents until I lived on my own in the UP. Being able to come home to a “live in family” who cares about you and is genuinely invested in you means the world to me. My live in mother is honestly like a second mother to me know that I’ve been here 8 weeks. Obviously, nothing beats my own mother, but I can’t put it into words how amazing it is to have someone from a totally different state care so much about you. I am going to miss this internship at Sports Plus so much. Not to mention my CI has been an amazing teacher, giving¬†amazing learning points throughout the internship.
