To Sleep or Not to Sleep

We all know that there are only 24 hours in a day. That means I have 24 hours today, and you have 24 hours today, and there are no exceptions.

As a college student, however, I run into too many days when I desperately need a handful more hours that day in order to do everything I want to do. The struggle occurs most often when I finally finish all of my school work for the day and realize it is 1 o’clock in the morning.

The question is whether I should go to bed immediately and try to sleep as close to a full 8 hours as I can, or spend two hours on a movie that I’ve been wanting to see SO badly.

So, do I sleep, or not sleep? Do I rest, or do I spend some time to reward myself for being productive and working hard? Do I do what I should do, or do I do what I want to do?

By far, these are the hardest decisions I am forced to make in my day.
