    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

Studying in Storm’s Den

One of my favorite places to study is at Storm’s Den, which is on the ground floor of Tower.

I don’t have a set preference when it comes to studying because it always depends on my mood, which, honestly, changes all the time. Sometimes, I need absolute silence in order to study on the days when I know I’ll be easily distracted by anything that moves or makes a sound. Sometimes, I need to be around lots of people when I’m feeling overwhelmed during stressful weeks of tests, quizzes, and assignments. On the other days, I can be productive with some friends around me, some light background music, and some food next to my laptop.

Storm’s Den is perfect for any day. If I want silence and no company, I can choose a corner table and plug in my headphones. If I want to be more social, I can sit in any of the side booths or middle tables with my friends. If I need lunch or I’m craving a snack, I just need to walk three steps (okay, more like 15 steps) to the food court area and the P.O.D. convenience store and grab some food to feed my productive brain.

Also, Storm’s Den is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. That means you can pop in whenever and get some work done, because, let’s be honest, as college students we always have something that needs to get done.
