Reading Nook of My Dreams

Reading nook behind Tower
I’ve always loved reading ever since I could understand the jumble of letters on a page. My face was usually two inches away from a book and libraries were as exciting to me as an unlimited dessert bar would be to a sugar addict. I would snuggle up in the corner of a couch with five layers of blankets over me and immerse myself into different worlds for hours at a time. In order to fully enjoy my reading time, the lighting would have to be perfect, the temperature would have to be right, and my seat would have to be comfortable and soft enough that I would not have a case of the numb butt.
On my way to the CSS library on campus, I saw a door open in the hallway that leads to the library in Tower. Sunlight drew my attention to the other side of the open door, and when I looked outside, I spotted the reading nook of my dreams.
Lush, green grass. Cool shade under a tall tree. A table under the leaves. Natural light peeking through the branches. Peaceful air. The calming, quiet sound of nature.
The perfect place to dive into my next book.
