    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

My Roommates, My Study Buddies

I live with three girls, and I’m lucky enough that they are my best friends here. I lived with two of the girls last year (also in Kerst), and I’m very close to my roommates by now. Choosing to live with people that I can trust and be myself around was a fantastic decision, and I honestly wouldn’t change my roommate situations.

Living together brings people closer very quickly, and it helps to build bonds between people. You can imagine why. Living together means seeing what they look like when they get out of bed, eating meals together, sharing a refrigerator, talking about the highs and lows of each day, and studying together. That last one is one of my favorite aspects of living with my roommates.

After lunch or dinner, depending on the day and if it’s a weekend, we gather around in the living room or kitchen counter and settle in for study sessions. The four of us all have different majors and classes and club involvement, but the details don’t really matter when you’re all busy trying to be productive. My roommates motivate me to study when I want to be lazy all day because I feel bad laying around the house when all of them are being productive. They help me stay focused because no one tries to distract the others.

The best thing about living with your study buddies is that you never have to look for a place to study, and you don’t have to worry about transporting your things more than a few feet down from your bedroom.
