    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

Making It Up As I Go

I like to think of myself as an organized, level-headed, passionate college student. That does not mean I know what I’m doing most of the time.

I just make things up as I go, really.

No matter how many days I plan, no matter how many hours I spend stressing out about finishing assignments on time, no matter how many things I fill up my monthly planners with, nothing ever really seems to go as I planned. I get sick without planning any sick days. I do horribly on tests that I studied for hours to do well on. I miss out on events because I was double-booked.

Life happens all the time. Like, every single day. And so I’ve learned that it’s not just college that has unexpected plot twists–it’s life. And so far, I’ve been just fine doing what I can on a daily basis because we don’t have anything else other than today. We don’t have yesterday anymore. We certainly don’t have any clue about tomorrow.

So, yes, I make things up as I go. But don’t we all?

Let’s cut ourselves some slack.
