    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

Dessert Therapy

Cookies galore!

With finals week right around the corner, it’s natural that college students feel a hundred times more stressed out and overwhelmed due to the piles and piles of homework assignments, final projects, and the finals looming over everyone’s heads.

The extra stress really adds to my cravings for sugar and junk food and artificial flavoring. So when I come across multiple platters of desserts at events on campus, I can’t blame myself for lacking the self control to walk away. Instead, I indulge and eat every cookie, macaroon, gingersnap, candy cane, and packets of sugar that I can fit into my stomach in one sitting and tell myself that I’m compensating for the extra stress put on me by the closing destiny of my classes.

But that never helps.

I end up being more stressed out about the unnecessary ten thousand calories I just inhaled, and of course, there’s nothing worse than feeling bloated and gross and crashing after a sugar high–especially because there are other more important things to get done.

So, when will I learn my lesson?

Probably after this cookie.
