    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

Decorating Gingerbread Houses

My decorated gingerbread house

In Storm’s Den, German Club hosted a gingerbread house decorating contest for the entire campus. They had more than fifty gingerbread houses that were ready for assembly and decoration in the middle of Storm’s Den. There was a full house–I completely underestimated the number of people who enjoy making gingerbread houses because of the nostalgia. My friend and I had half an hour before going to a club meeting, so we spent twenty five minutes putting together the house and decorating it.

If we weren’t so strapped for time, I would have loved to cover the entire gingerbread house with the icing and sprinkle some glitter on the roof. But, I think for having less than half an hour, we did better than we expected.

Who is going to pass up a chance to play with their food, right? And yes, we did eat the gingerbread house afterwards, and it was delicious.
