Autumn in Duluth
Autumn in Duluth is…sigh…gorgeous.
The leaves start to crisp up at the tops of the trees as they turn redder and redder as if they’re in some nature oven being cooked. The color gradient is so artistic–shout out to Mother Nature’s artsy side. Seeing the leaves on the trees changing color a little more each day makes me want to savor the autumn days for as long as I can until I have to reluctantly pull out my fluffy winter coats that make me look like a marshmallow. But at least for a few more weeks I can enjoy the perfectly cool weather.
When I look out of my apartment window on campus, all I can see is the stunning array of red, orange, yellow, and green on the trees.
Yes, winter is coming (and no, I am not referring to anything other than the season).
But for one more day, I think I’ll wear some shorts outside.
