$5 Movies
Do you like watching movies?
Do you like watching movies at a movie theater?
Do you like watching movies at a movie theater for only five bucks?
If you answered “no” to any of the questions, it is possible that you are missing out on the opportunity to witness cinematic magic.
But if you answered “yes” to all three questions, I have wonderful news for you: Duluth cinema (Marcus Theater) in Canal Park has student movie nights every Tuesday! That means if you take your student ID with you, your movie is only five bucks! That’s affordable for even broke college students.
Duluth cinema is only a five minute drive from the CSS campus. If you take the bus, it’ll take you approximately twenty minutes to get to your movie. If you decide to walk, which I have done from campus before, it’ll take you a little longer than an hour. (Keep in mind, though, I like to appreciate the Duluth scenery when I walk, so if you’re a fast walker or don’t have time to smell the roses, you could probably get there in less time.)
For five bucks, you can go out to Canal Park on the weekends and enjoy movie nights without feeling like you’re too broke to have fun outside of your dorm/apartment/room.
