Networking Advice
One of my biggest tidbits of advice as a college student is to make relationships. Respect your teachers, be polite to faculty and staff, reach out to others if you need help, and stay in touch with the people who go out of their way and believe in you. Great a LinkedIn page! Add people from the college, join groups, follow businesses you are interested in, share posts, and update your profile often. Make sure your picture is professional and not a selfie or group photo. LinkedIn has been a wonderful tool for me throughout college and I have added almost everyone i made connections with in my lady 4 years. I have also had people reach out to me through this site with job offers. I have also found many job postings through LinkedIn! It is never, never too early to start considering your future career and to get excited about it! LinkedIn is a great tool to see what real life professionals are up to, what articles their reading, and what groups they follow. My advice is to get on LinkedIn and learn your way around it and utilize it to its fullest capabilities. Showcase your education and how awesome you are!
