    Halle's Bio:
Hello, my name is Halle Nystrom and I'm a grad student at the College of St. Scholastica (I also did my undergrad here). I chose Duluth because it's the perfect amount of distance from home, which is about a 4.5 hour drive for me. I think Duluth is an easy place to adapt to and to fall in love with at the same time. Please feel free to comment on my posts and ask any questions!

“Nature Walking”

Yesterday me and my roommate decided to go for a “nature walk”. She is in a plants class for her biology major and had to find 6 different plants. This sounded pretty interesting to me so I volunteered to join her on the hunt! We spent a little over an hour traveling to Hartley Nature Center and to the Lake Superior shore and everywhere in between. It was a beautiful sunny day even though it was a little too windy out. We enjoyed the early surprise of nice weather and saw so much of Duluth we never knew existed.
