    Halle's Bio:
Hello, my name is Halle Nystrom and I'm a grad student at the College of St. Scholastica (I also did my undergrad here). I chose Duluth because it's the perfect amount of distance from home, which is about a 4.5 hour drive for me. I think Duluth is an easy place to adapt to and to fall in love with at the same time. Please feel free to comment on my posts and ask any questions!

Move in!

I’m in Duluth, and I have to say, I love this time of the year! I also love the quiet summers, but there is nothing as vibrant as the vibe in Duluth when students start arriving for college. It feels weird not being a part of it anymore, but I still feel connected being a graduate student. My advice for move in time is to enjoy it! Take photos, meet new people, and have an open mind. Do not judge, discriminate, or stereotype. Open your mind to endless opportunities and possibilities! This is the best time of the school year. And if you’re like me, you won’t be able to sleep before your first day of class..just as if you’re still in K-12!
