    Halle's Bio:
Hello, my name is Halle Nystrom and I'm a grad student at the College of St. Scholastica (I also did my undergrad here). I chose Duluth because it's the perfect amount of distance from home, which is about a 4.5 hour drive for me. I think Duluth is an easy place to adapt to and to fall in love with at the same time. Please feel free to comment on my posts and ask any questions!

Summer Golfing

I live in Duluth year round, so in the summer I work at Enger golf course which is up high on a hill overlooking Duluth and canal park. It’s a great job that allows me to do a variety of activities and to be outside part-time. I work the snack bar which entails selling simples snacks and hot dogs, making wraps, burgers, and salads. I also work the bev cart which means I drive around the golf course backwards to sell drinks and snacks to people golfing. This job is a fun way to get to know the Duluth community and to be outside in a scenic area of Duluth. I start training tomorrow for the new season and I have to say I’m pretty excited because it means that summer is right around the corner!
