    Halle's Bio:
Hello, my name is Halle Nystrom and I'm a grad student at the College of St. Scholastica (I also did my undergrad here). I chose Duluth because it's the perfect amount of distance from home, which is about a 4.5 hour drive for me. I think Duluth is an easy place to adapt to and to fall in love with at the same time. Please feel free to comment on my posts and ask any questions!

Finals Advice

As far as finals go, they’re hard! Mentally draining and time consuming. My advice is the start studying now! Take the 20 minutes a night to go over notes and to start memorizing the materials you’ll be tested on. Being a last minute type of person never works out well when finals come around. Relive the stress of finals week my starting to study as early as you can handle so that when finals come around they’re less stressful and you’re better prepared. I have definitely learned this lesson the hard way but now as a senior I take the time to study in advance and feel as though I know the test material better when finals come around. A little bit of studying each night goes a long way!
