    Halle's Bio:
Hello, my name is Halle Nystrom and I'm a grad student at the College of St. Scholastica (I also did my undergrad here). I chose Duluth because it's the perfect amount of distance from home, which is about a 4.5 hour drive for me. I think Duluth is an easy place to adapt to and to fall in love with at the same time. Please feel free to comment on my posts and ask any questions!

Favorite general education course

During my 4 years, I’ve taken many courses. Since I started off as a nursing major I had many courses that didn’t switch over to health information management so I had to take courses the past two summers to make up for it. I wish I would have known sooner that health information management was what I wanted to do so I didn’t have to spend the extra time but in the long run it all worked out. During my general education courses my freshmen year my favorite course was my Dignitas! My Dignitas was taught by Mary Bridget Lawson and the topic was world diversity. She did an amazing job at opening our eyes to world diversity and culture. To add to my wonderful learning experience I had classmates in my class from all over the world; Indonesia, England, Serbia, Egypt, and another country in Africa I can’t remember off of the top of my head. It was amazing to have different perspectives in the class and to be able to get to know these classmates of mine. Pick a Dignitas that truly interests you!
