    Gabi's Bio:
I love being considered a “city girl” although St. Paul seems small to me sometimes. I chose to come to Duluth for aesthetic reasons and the sense of community that Scholastica embodies. Being in three clubs, a student senator, full credit load, and two part time jobs, I keep myself very busy. I wouldn't trade it for anything! We need to take advantage of the prime time in our life. These four years go by faster than high school, and I’m just trying to enjoy every moment of it!

Since everyone else is writing a post about February, I’ll write one too. Cliche.

Since everyone is writing a post about it being February, I thought I’d do one too. At the beginning of January I had said “Wake me up when January ends” because of how cold it is. Ironically, today when I was starting the car the temperature read -17 degrees with a wind chill of -40. Yesterday it was 2 degrees out. It’s kind of funny that the first day of February is so cold.

Last year on February 29 (leap day) we had a big blizzard. It prevented us from going to Day at the Capitol which was a real bummer. I stayed in my apartment for 36 hours and endlessly watched Netflix.

I’m really glad that it is February, here’s what I have on my itinerary:

February 2: Groundhog day!!! It’s crazy that people think that a critter can determine our weather for the rest of winter. We all know how Minnesota is, 9 months out of the year is winter!

February 3: Super Bowl (I don’t really care who wins, but I love watching the commercials!!!)

February 6: Saints helping Saints. It is a great networking event, and this year it is being held on campus. I went two years ago as well. I need all of the networking I can get since I am graduating in a few months!
