    Gabi's Bio:
I love being considered a “city girl” although St. Paul seems small to me sometimes. I chose to come to Duluth for aesthetic reasons and the sense of community that Scholastica embodies. Being in three clubs, a student senator, full credit load, and two part time jobs, I keep myself very busy. I wouldn't trade it for anything! We need to take advantage of the prime time in our life. These four years go by faster than high school, and I’m just trying to enjoy every moment of it!

5 day mini vacation at home!

This past Friday I was SO anxious to go home, back to Saint Paul. On Friday the first thing my friends and I did was go to Chipotle. I hadn’t eaten it in SIX weeks! WITHDRAWAL! Saturday I went to my friend Kristina’s younger brother’s and cousin’s grad party. I feel old and creepy going to these, but it was definitely worth it. There was a lot of great food! I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, a hot dog, tons of watermelon and pineapple, and some sweet desserts too 😛 There’s me and the grad on the left!

After that I went to Old  Navy to snag  a pair of the ONE DOLLAR FLIP FLOPS! Awwww yeaaaahhh! Luckily I was just looking for a black pair because all of the other ones were picked over!

That night I went to Chili’s with my best friend Christina (who everyone calls Conejo). It was pretty good except for all of the children crying! It was 7 o clock at night, WHY WERE THEY THERE?! Things like this scare me from having children sometimes.

After that I went to Tea Garden with my friend Courtney. We went on a nice walk and came across a wild raccoon! Courtney was pretty afraid, and I kept my eyes on the rascal 😛

Sunday my friend Jessica and I went to Valleyfair! WOO HOO! It was a lot of fun, but I can definitely tell I’m not the energetic kid I use to be. The rides were exhausting, but definitely worth it. It was SO HOT that day, that we spent four hours in the water park portion of Valleyfair! After Valleyfair, Cece, Jessica and I went to Noodles & Company since I had barely eaten ALL DAY! Followed by some delicious ice cream of course 😉

Monday Christina and I went to Caribou for breakfast, and then split a meal at Chili’s for lunch. It was a lot more baby free than our experience on Saturday! I had a six  month dentist appointment after that. My teeth were in such good condition that the doctor was only looking at them for about 45 seconds! It felt great! After that I went to my friend Alyce’s house for ice cream 😛 It felt nice after my dentist appointment! She had french silk and peanut butter chocolate ice creams, so of course we had both! It was so nice seeing her because I hadn’t seen her since early January when she left for Denmark! We’ve been friends since elementary school, and it’s always fun catching up with each other. We were both pretty exhausted  (me from Valleyfair, and her from who knows what!) though. That night I met up with my cousin Liz and we went to MAGIC MIKE! It was a SOLD OUT SHOW! I mean, who could resist, right??

Tuesday I went to Bruegger’s Bagels with Kristina and tried the new pretzel bagel, one word: SALTY! Unfortunately, Kristina had to head off to work…. so I went home watched the end of Price is Right and then took a nap! I never nap! It was glorious! That night I went to Punch pizza with my friend Meghan. We both ate a WHOLE PIZZA (personal size of course). Then we walked around Rosedale mall to burn some calories. She bought this really cute dress to wear for 4th of July. I didn’t get anything because Payday is FRIDAY! After that we went to Tea Garden (can you tell that I like it??). We were basically sweating every last bit of ourselves off! The whole time I was home the temperature was 97-100 degrees but with humidity it added 10 degrees! HOT!

My 4th of July was pretty calm… I lounged around in my PJs til after 12, and finally got dressed… My friend and I went to Tea Garden (I had a free drink, finally!) in attempts to cool off, but that wasn’t happening. We returned to my house and watched some TV in the AC. Unfortunately that was the end to my time in Saint Paul. Luckily I’ll be back sooner than I realize 🙂
