Busy busy summer!

Even though I’ve been spending my summer out in beautiful San Diego with my family, I’ve been busier than ever! CSS offers a pretty large selection of online summer courses, so I decided to take 14 credits. Besides being a total downer to constantly worry about classes in the summer, these credits are really helpful for boosting GPA’s or taking upper division electives you may not have been able to fit into the normal academic year. You can even take General Education requirements online during the summer, which is super awesome. But as I’ve said before, it does really suck to spend so much time doing schoolwork during the summer, when I’m supposed to be relaxing :P!!!

I’ve also been busy getting things ready for The Cable, our school newspaper. I’m the Editor in Chief this year, and am learning so much about all the hard work it takes to prouduce a school paper. I’m planning a total re-vamp of the paper, and our staff is going to work hard to make it exciting and controversial all year long, so don’t forget to pick it up once a week and read!!!

I’m off to drive my grandmother somewhere, my busiest task during the summer is being her driver! 😉 I’m half Italian and half Arab, so my posts might turn into mini-culture lessons, because I love to share!! Grandmother in Italian is Nonna, and grandfather is Nonno. Together they’re Nonni. Test it out on your grandparents!
